Program Highlights:
The principal focus of our program is to motivate and prepare students to pursue careers in mathematics, the sciences, technologies, and the licensed professions. Eligibility of participants is: students must exhibit a potential for success and an interest in S.T.E.P careers; students enrolled in grades 7 through 12 who are members of underrepresented minority groups and/or economically disadvantaged in accordance with S.T.E.P. guidelines. Our academic year activities include: Enrichment component, Academic advisement, Career planning, College financial aid/admissions information and tours, personal/social counseling, Summer internships, pre-dentistry, field trips, and an end of the year achievement ceremony.
